FlorisHER was founded with a clear and urgent mission: to empower girls who are falling behind or struggling academically by teaching them how to learn, thrive, and succeed. We focus not on specific subjects, but on the critical skills of learning, confidence-building, and self-discovery—equipping girls with the tools they need to change their futures.
The numbers tell a heartbreaking story:
Every year, over 2 million young people aged 16-24 drop out of school, closing the door to opportunities and opening pathways to poverty and hardship.
Low self-esteem and academic frustration are leading causes of these dropouts and are directly linked to higher rates of delinquency, unemployment, and even incarceration.
Girls, in particular, face unique pressures that make it even harder to stay engaged in school and believe in their potential.
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
At FlorisHER, we believe in turning struggles into strengths. Through our innovative programs, we teach girls how to learn and grow—not just for school but for life. Our emphasis on guided journaling and personalized growth provides girls with a safe space to reflect, express themselves, and track their progress. This transformative approach builds the confidence and resilience they need to overcome challenges and seize opportunities.
Every girl deserves the chance to succeed—but we can’t do it alone. Your donation helps us provide:
